8mm covertape connectors combined with brass splice shims and splice detection arrow, 500 pieces per box. The connector/shim combination allows you to combine reels that may be larger or have an irregular shape to them that does not allow you to connect carrier tapes with only the covertape connector, the shim adds stability and support.
Tape with splice shim arrow on the right allows machines to detect splice on assorted Panasonic equipment. Splice has perforation on black tape to allow small slit of black tape to cover sprocket drive holes for splice detection sensor.
The ability to join a new reel of SMD parts to a reel of parts currently on the pick and place machine without stopping the machine can increase your throughput.
